Compassion is what you feel when you see suffering and are moved to action by a desire to help in some way. It is a heart-felt emotion that exists in an open, giving heart. Since energy healing is heart-centered work, it is vital that the practitioner have compassion as a foundation for her motivation in doing energy work. I believe compassion is an essential component of an effective session of energy work. I question whether the healing energy would flow as freely without the presence of compassion.
Unconditional Love goes hand in hand with compassion. It allows the recipient acceptance, forgiveness, freedom from judgment, love without strings attached – no conditions for receiving love, no need to earn love and no standard to reach before love is given. In my mind, Unconditional Love is paired with compassion as foundational for practicing energy healing. Both are vital components for facilitating a heart-centered work.
Innate Harmony helps the practitioner to be the bridge for the client to receive whatever they need from beyond. When the practitioner is at peace they can facilitate the healing process for the client, regardless of the client’s emotional state. Innate Harmony allows the practitioner to be present for the client, yet separate so that sympathy for the client does not overwhelm the practitioner, pulling them from a place of peace and inner calm. This state of Innate Harmony allows the practitioner to maintain an effective connection enabling healing energy to flow and balance to occur.
Healing Presence can create an atmosphere of calm, comfort and peacefulness where those qualities are lacking. Serenity would be another word for this concept. Healing Presence manifests when Unconditional Love, Compassion and Innate Harmony are present.
It is my intention to embody these heart attributes with each client and in each session of energy healing.
